This monograph by the late Dr. Samuel Francis traces the failed attempt in the 1990s and early 2000s by the Republican Party to appeal to ethnic (primarily Hispanic) voters at the expense of their natural constituents, middle American whites.
Dr. Francis was a nationally syndicated columnist and author of a number of books, including The Soviet Strategy of Terror (1981), Power and History: The Political Thought of Jams Burnham (1983), Beautiful Losers (1993), and Revolution from the Middle (1996). He died in 2005.
